Sports Technology Innovation Precinct establishment

Today we learnt of approval for the Australian Sports Technology Innovation precinct the ASTN and partners have been working on for sometime. Exciting times , with a node to be established in Queensland with the Queensland Academy of Sport and Griffith University.

Mr Rudd will today announce Geelong as the national headquarters

for the sports technology precinct, and rubber stamp a $6 million commitment over the next four years to set it up, with industry matching the funds. The Coalition is yet to commit to funding the program.
