Hi Everyone,
I like to invite you to attend two short talks by two of SABEL’s colleagues who are currently visiting our lab.  A/Prof Tomohito Wada and Dr. Jim Lee lead significant enterprises at their own institutions encompassing sports science and technology. I’ve invited them to speak a little about their facilities and their various research and other activities.

A/Prof Tomohito Wada, NIFS Japan
Tomohito Wada is a director of Information Technology Center for Sports Sciences, National Institute of Fitness and Sports (NIFS) in Japan, on of only two such institutes in Japan which has recenetly undergone a significant technology fitout. He has contributed to the design and introduction of the experimental equipment for new sport science research facility in NIFS. Tomo is currently a visiting professor to SABEL for his sabbatical  year.

jimssportslab-smallDr James Lee, Charles Darwin University
Jim Lee, a former post doctoral fellow at SABEL leads the Physiolytics laboratory a diverse group of researchers interested in human performance measures in a range of disciplines and teaches sports science to a predominately distance learning cohort through blended learning and “flipping the classroom methodologies in his sports laboratory (Jim’s Sports Lab). His research at CDU includes investigations into physical literacy, which has taken him to a remote indigenous community. This has influenced him considerably.

Hope you can make it, please pass on to others that might find it of intrest
