Australian Sports Technology Network Annual Conference, Friday Nov 2nd

The first Australian Sports Technology Network annual conference will be held on Friday, Nov 2nd. If you yo can come a day early then consider the Sports Tech. Innovation boot camp on Thursday, Nov 1st. But wait, there is more,  the day before on Wednesday 31st will be the ISEA Australian Chapter workshop (see http://www.sportsengineeringaustralia.com for details as they emerge or watch this space! )

We will hold the inaugural ASTN Annual Conference at the Geelong Football Club on Friday 2 November (over a full day). We have more than 20 keynote speakers presenting on the day including Hon. Kate Lundy, John Bertrand, and leaders from IMG, Nike, AFL and the Australian Institute of Sport just to name a few.

Keynote speakers and presentations will come from a combination of;

  • National sporting organisations
  • Sports retailers, marketers and distributors
  • Sports technology researchers,
  • Successful sports technology businesses, and
  • Sports commercialisation experts and investors.

The finalists of the first ever Australian Sports Technologies Investment Pitching Competition will also present on the day. We will also launch the findings of the first ever comprehensive study into the Australian Sports Technologies Industry.

We invite both Members and Non-Members to the Conference. The event will be free for all ASTN Members and $100pp for non-members.

Members will also be exclusively invited to the Sports Tech Innovation Bootcamp that will be held in Geelong on Thursday 1st November. The Bootcamp will focus on educating ASTN members on sports technologies innovation, commercialisation and entrepreneurship.
